West Coast Funding The housing market today (positive spin)
The housing market is making a comeback. In recent years, the housing market hit a snag, but today it is surely recovering. Homes are going for better rates now than they have in quite some time. Available in almost every city across the nation, deals can be made, interest rates are consistent, and buyers are ready to take possession.
The reason the housing market is bouncing back is because owners would rather see their properties lived-in than sit empty. They are willing to meet the buyers expectations. They are even willing to help with closing in order to seal the deal.
First-time buyers are getting into a buyer’s market different ways. One of those ways is called a short sale. It’s a way for buyer’s to acquire property and houses without having to go through a realm of red tape. The house will sell as is allowing the buyer to fix it up as they please.
Not just first-time home buyers but long-term repeat buyers are jumping into the market with both feet. Doing so gets them the best deals first. Additionally they can acquire more properties for a cumulative lower rate. Some of these properties can be rented out for people who are newly married, just returning home from the service, moving out of their parents home for the first time, or who may be in the area on a new job and would like to get their feet wet on their first rental before they decide to purchase a home themselves.
Getting a mortgage is not as hard as one might think. Having all pertinent information for the loan officer, broker, or bank while looking for property, can help speed up the process. Knowing what the buyer is looking for is the agent’s job – and helps keep the clients referring others.
There are opportunities and incentives available today that wasn’t available perhaps when your parents bought their first home. Incentives that can make the purchase that much easier like first-time home buyers credits, government loan programs, and rent-to-own programs. Whatever avenue is taken the positive is being done. Home ownership is still the American dream and more people than not are still obtaining it.
